(More customer reviews)Bought this for my 700 gallon pond after the Farm Innovators Heated Pond Saucer Model PS-200, 200-Watt deicer started to trip my GFI after only 2 months of use!(After taking that one from the water, could hear water slooshing around inside the disk.)
Seems like a good design because of the option to have it float or not, the 250 watt option and it's not a disk that will eventually leak in water.
I was leery of buying this because it said it is for a stock tank but the coils are surrounded so I don't see a way that it could damage a pond liner.
This one has kept the water open for the 1-2 months since I've bought it.I just hope I'm able to use it next year!
