(More customer reviews)I bought this a couple of years ago to carry from room to room in our leaky 1908 house in Oregon. It does everything it claims to do: heats the room evenly, quickly and has great settings for automatic temp control. We even moved it into the chicken coop when the new chicks were trying to stay warm and it managed to keep an uninsulated building several degrees above the outside temp. Still, the one complaint I have is that the heater fan never turns off. Instead, it constantly 'sniffs' the air with a low circulation setting. I assume it is gauging the temp of the room so it can click back to full force to re-heat the room. In this way it keeps the room even, but I do find the constant sound of the circulation fan to be a bit distracting. Note that I work alone in a home office, so am sensitive to low level noise.
