The Q-Mark HBB754 Electric Hydronic Baseboard Heater has clean, quiet operation without the noise of a traditional hot water piping system, does not have a noisy blower and is free from the dirt of force-air systems. Efficient and economical, the individual room control provided permits heating only in desired areas or use as a total electric heat source.
The Q-Mark HBB754 electric hydronic baseboard heater delivers a steady, uniform comfort level in a room by having low unit surface temperatures, natural convection and large heating fin areas. The sheathed heating element is completely submerged in heat transfer fluid and totally sealed in a copper tube spanning the length of the heater. Even when the unit is switched off, soft warmth continues to radiate because of the maximum heat retention of the hydronic element.
The large wiring compartment of the Q-Mark HBB754 baseboard heater is accessible from either end or front, enabling rapid, easy hookup. It also has high-temperature shutoff protection for your safety. Also, the contemporary styling and neutral color blends with any decor. It is three inches deep and mounts flush to the wall and flat on wood, tile or carpeted floor. A ten year limited warranty is included. Optional thermostat must be purchased separately.

(More customer reviews)I live in Texas and have a 520 sq ft garage with ceiling/walls insulated, 1 car garage door not insulated and 3 windows.I checked around for code requirements in our area and wired the 240 v/30 amp electrical myself. Mounted the unit hanging down from the ceiling, turned it on and in 2 hours it already had the upper half of the garage up to 60f degrees when 35f outside.Let it run overnight and the garage was 75f next morning....low to mid 30s outside. Thermostat on the unit turns off the fan and heater coils once chosen temperature is reached.Shipper had issues getting the unit shipped... stated waiting for manufacture to ship.Per Amazon's recommendation, I had to send a followup e-mail to shipper to get status of shipment.After that, the shipper sent status mails until the unit had a shipping tracking number.If you need this unit, order early.Took 2 weeks to arrive from the day I ordered it.For our needs ... great price, compact unit and heats as expected.

(More customer reviews)My wife and I bought this several years ago and really liked it at first. However, recently we had a VERY serious concern. This has been one of the coldest weeks in recent history and this little heater has been put to work. Usually we just leave it on auto and it handily turns itself on and off when needed to heat up our cold dining room. But apparently it has been overworking this week...

Today my wife pulled the DVTH's plug out to plug something else in the same outlet and noticed that part of the outlet cover was discolored. She then noticed the end of the heater's plug was extremely hot. It appears that part of the plastic on both the plug and outlet cover has been melted... 'sigh of relief' I think that could have started a fire had my wife not unplugged it today.

On the product's website it says it has an "Automatic Safety Shutoff." Not so sure about that... It should also be noted that a previous version of this model, the DVH, was recalled in 2004. The Problem then: "A faulty electrical connection can cause the heater to overheat and stop working, posing a fire hazard to consumers."

(More customer reviews)We bought the ice and easy floating tank heater last year at a local feed store for about 25 dollars and it has proven itself to be a very practical and affordable way to keep outside water from freezing.

It has a built in thermostat that only kicks on when the temperature goes below 32.

It might be the most clever name given to a farm product. I'm using our's to keep the chicken water warm tonight so they can have something non frozen to wake up to tomorrow.

This little heater is just perfect for heating up a small room.I go downstairs in the morning and turn it on and it heats up quick.This is a small unit so if you have a large bathroom you will need the next size up.

Installation was easy.I did have one question on the wiring which I e-mailed to their support and received an answer that same day.

I give it 4 instead of 5 stars because (a) it's made of hard plastic that's a bit uncomfortable after a while on bare or stocking feet, and (b) it's a bit overpriced. It's just a piece of injection-molded plastic with a small heating element... should be more like $40. It has 3 heat settings: off, foot-warmer, and radiant-panel. Haven't tried the panel setting, but the foot-warmer setting is nice. Would be better if there were more of a range of settings (foot-warm-low, foot-warm-high), and for the price I'd kinda expect this. A good feature is the angled base: when sitting in a chair and stretching your feet out to it, the angle is comfortable on the ankles. I put mine on a plug-in timer: no need to consume 90 watts 24/7, I only run it from 2PM to midnight. In summary, despite the omission of a few minor features and being slightly pricey, I'm glad I got it and I would recommend it to anyone looking to end cold feet under their desk.

(More customer reviews)Claims of 19,000 BTU are greatly exaggerated. My garage is 400 sq ft and has 240v service. A $40 Home Depot heater does almost as good a job. Two $40 Home Depot heaters do a much better job than the L5600. This heater would probably do 150 sq ft easily. 200+ sq ft might be a stretch if it's in a cold area. I'm surprised Dayton would put their name on this heater.
