The Qmark LFK204 high capacity, heavy-duty fan-forced wall heater can be used almost anywhere in residential, commercial or industrial areas and covers areas up to 200 square feet. This heater offers up to 2,000 watts of heat and can be recessed or surface mounted for true versatility.
Three Piece Design
QMark LFK204 electric wall heaters have a three piece design for easy installation and a Northern white louvered cover. The rugged stamped steel front cover provides a down-flow air pattern and is finished in Navajo white. Effective and Durable
Uniform heat and long service life is provided by the steel finned metal sheath electric heating elements with low sheath temperature.
Thermostat Control
A two pole thermostat is included with the Qmark LFK204 electric wall heater so that you are able to turn the heater all the way off.
Safety Features
The built-in thermal cut out disconnects the power in event of overheating due to accidental blockage and a fan delay switch that energizes the fan only after the elements are heated to prevent unheated air from being discharged. The fan motor is also only de-energized after the residual heat has dissipated when the heat is shut off.
Permanently Lubricated Fan Motor
The Qmark LF204's fan motor is permanently lubricated and totally enclosed to ensure long life, low maintenance and gently distribute warmth throughout room area.

The instructions were clear and easy to follow.The heater does make a little bit of an annoying whining noise when it runs, but you get used to it quickly, I only notice it if it runs at night when everything else is quite. Puts out more than enough heat for the average sized full bath.

(More customer reviews)I have had this mat in place under my desk at work and running on high for about a month. It works just as I had hoped. No more cold feet! The smell of "hot rubber" was very evident the first week or so. Even now, if I mistakenly leave it on overnight, there is still a very slight odor that is noticeable when I first come in the office in the morning. (The office is approximately 18'x30' with about 13' high ceiling and is kept closed up at night.) Perhaps with another month or two of use, the smell will go away entirely, but even if it does not, it is not a deal breaker for me because it is hardly noticeable any more.

(More customer reviews)We have had an unusally cold winter and I wanted something to keep the water in my new very small pond thawed for the birds and wildlife that live in my area. I had used one of these De-Icers several years ago in a large birdbath, and it had done very well. I put this in my small pond when it arrived, it was thawed at the time due to warmer temperatures. As soon as the temperatures dropped again my pond stayed thawed. About half of the pond stayed mushy, but the half near the De-Icer stayed completely thawed. My birds, and other animals loved having the thawed water all of the time even when we had about 1 1/2 inched of ice then several inches of snow on top of it. I should have thought of it sooner. I also bought a large pet bowl warmer to keep water thawed out by the wellhouse. You don't have to have horses and cows to need to keep water thawed, wildlife appreciates it too.

The horses don't mess with them, they don't melt rubber/plastic pans (winter bird baths, pond liners), and it sure beats having 1500 watters going all winter! When our temperatures and wind chills drop below zero, I just drop a second one in each tank.....still beats 1500 watters! My tanks are in 3 sided run-in stalls and are not insulated other than being out of the wind. Best price on these is right here at Amazon.com
